But at East Vancouver Realtors, we’ve got many more.
What is a LiveWork Building?
A Live/work building is not the same as a typical condo building in Vancouver. Live/Work buildings allow a commercial office and some Artist Studios. They have more open concepts for both living and working. These spaces consist of lofts, with concrete flooring, exposed pipes, and high ceilings. Many buildings offer a loading bay for residents who build large projects. There are showrooms to display residents art. And a workshop offering tools and ample space to do other work.
The Live/Work building has to follow bylaw requirements for both residential and non-residential occupancy.
